Just so you know, low carb diets are not healthy and they only work short term. Your body needs carbohydrates because they are your primary energy source. Every cell in your body depends on carbs, so don"t be afraid to eat them! All you need to do is stay away from simple carbs eg. White breads and pastas. Fuel up with complex carbs that are found in whole grain breads and pastas. Follow the food guide so you know how many servings you can have in a day.


As for a recipe…..


Make yourself your favorite salad. I like romaine lettuce or mesclun mix, tomatoes, green onion, green pepper, cucumber and julienned carrots. Now toss in some low fat cheese for protein, or a can of salmon. Use a low fat dressing, or balsamic vinegar and olive oil for seasoning (I prefer the latter). Mix well and stuff into a whole grain pita for a very tasty and healthy lunch.


For breakfast, have whole wheat toast with diabetic jam. You can find this at your pharmacy, or look for it in larger grocery stores. Make a breakfast burrito. Use a whole wheat tortilla, fill with scrambled egg whites, fresh tomato, green pepper, onion, and low fat cheese. Add a bit of hot sauce for some zing. You can also have low fat yogurt with a handful of berries, sliced bananas, and/or granola mixed in. Try a fruit smoothie. Pour some vanilla soymilk into your blender. Add some fresh or frozen fruit, a bit of honey, and your favorite low fat yogurt. Blend and enjoy.


For dinner, make a stir-fry with whole wheat spaghetti noodles, chicken, water chestnuts, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and whatever else you like. Have baked pork chops with cinnamon cranberry sauce. Just get a can of cranberry sauce, dump it in a saucepan, add a bit of water if needed, and add some sugar and cinnamon to taste. Have steamed veggies and brown rice for sides.


There are lots of things you can do. The best diet is to follow the food guide and get lots of exercise. Limit the amount of fat, sodium, and sugar that you use. Eat only when you are hungry, and stop when you are full. Do not skip meals because it slows down your metabolism. And eat those complex carbs!

For breakfast ill have

Green tea

Apple

Either Porridge, eggs, or yogurt


What are some healthy lunches ? What would Be good with tuna ? Sometimes

Ill have a smoothie with


Yogurt, manga, banana, juice ice and a little frozen yogurt


And what are some dinners i could eat


I want some simple really tasty recipes.

Lose body fat?

Im gaining muscle, and i wanna gain weight but if i do im scared i will gain alot of fat. I have some now but i want to lose it. I dont want to go on an extreme diet with fruits and veggies and stuff so what can i do to get my body looking better in a few weeks?

Build muscle. It"ll take your extra fat.(fat that didn"t get burn)

i don"t exactly remember how.


Drink lots of water, eat nuts and raisins to increase metabolism

workout.

Eat healthy.

Eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so

it takes awhile to be full after eating.


Eating slowly will allow you to know when you"re full to eat less.


Don"t sit in front of the tv while eating.

Pretty much pay attention only to your food when you eat

also allow your body to tell you when you"re hungry, when it growls, eat.


Do aerobic exercises


do 2 30min exercises then have a 20 min break you"ll lose more wight than not taking breaks at all

play music that you enjoy, or music that makes you feel like dancing to you"ll exercise more/longer


you can run in one place for 15 min per day or more.

Or run up and downstairs. Or jog/run/walk around your block.


Then slowly increase the time, by 5 min per day.

And if you"re gonna do sit-ups, cutches, pull=ups, etc. Add 10 per day


starving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,

and you"ll gain weight faster

like bears saving their food for the winter.


Also laughing for 10-15 minutes

burns75 calories


If you get cravings in afternoon, it means you"re not getting enough food in the day.

Have and extra half apple, or an extra of something healthy for breakfast or have a snack before

yur usual cravings start everyday.

Really do! It took me 19 hours altogether

to put this together.

I went through all my magazines

and look through the internet, for good sites

ask families and friends, and thought what i did

to put this together.

And read newspaper.

Also i"m a very slow typer.
