Excercises to do to burn calories fast?

Im on a diet and i am 13 pounds overweight. :( i need to loose this weight quick someone please help me.

Yes exercise burns calories. Weight training actually burns the most calories, but walking or jogging will burn a lot of calories as well. If you want to lose weight you will also need to cut back on how much you are eating as well. Try to eat healthy foods that are low in calories like raw fruits and vegetables. Try to track how many calories you are eating and shoot for eating around 1,200. Do not eat less than 1,200 calories though or you will go into starvation mode and your metabolism will slow down therefore you will burn less calories throughout the day and have no energy. Remember to drink a lot of water as well, this will cleanse your system, and ice cold water will actually help you burn extra calories. Also drink a lot of water with meals, because (unless you are over age 35), it will help you to feel fuller and therefore consume less calories in your meal. Green tea is another good tool for weight loss, it will help rev your metabolism. Try to exercise in the morning because your metabolism is more efficient for hours after you work out, so if you work out in the morning you will burn more calories throughout the day. Also make sure to get proper sleep. Getting enough sleep is important in loosing weight. If you are well rested your metabolism is more efficient( burning more calories), and you will have less cravings and a more regulated appetite. You should instead of checking your weight every day to see if you"ve lost weight, check your weight once a week, it will be more accurate, because you have fluctuations from day to day that may skew your results. Sugar-free jello is excellent if you are having a craving for something sweet, because it is super yummy, and only has 10 calories per cup. One last thing is don"t give up, make sure you stay motivated because it may not be easy to lose weight, you will have to work but it will be worth it. Just remember that it will be worth it. How long does it really take to "burn" fat and it to show? Is their a website that determines this?

I mean really, if i were to do situps.. Would 1 situp count as like a salt grain of fat burned off?


Is there a site where i can measure how much i would need to do to burn xx amount of fat in a selected amount of time?


I heard some people saying a full days workout does make a difference, and i heard others say that you wont burn anything.. That results take time…


I understand how hard it can be to workout and not see results right away.. But it would be nice to know somethings goin on inside ya know? Or atleast you know your getting the relative results your aiming for in your set amount of time..


Its hard to explain…


I want to burn xx fat by next (insert day), how much (insert suggested exercise) do i need to do to make it happen?


Along with staying below (number) (calory/carb/sugar/whatever) daily.


Is there a site that calculates this or maybe a guide that helps you do this? Much thanks in advance!

There should be plenty of sources that can calculate how many calories are burned for each type of activity. But be aware, these calculations can only be rough estimates because every person uses energy at different rates.


Males, for instance, tend to burn more calories, for the same level of activity, than females, because males TEND to have larger muscles. Some people have faster metabolism. Some people "push" themselves harder than others. Some will "cheat" on a sit up while another extends himself more.


In general, the kind of exercise that makes you breathe harder (aerobics) burn calories faster than strength exercises. All activity will first burn calories in the form of sugars in the blood stream. (glucose) Only after these are used up, will the body start converting fat into glucose the cells can use. Glucose that the body does not immediately need is converted into fat.


So, just looking at how many calories you burn off will not immediately translate into how much fat is lost. The most basic calculation to be considered is that, if you burn more calories than you take in with food or drink, weight loss will occur. How fast depends on those factors I mentioned earlier.

You"re burning calories at the highest rate when you"re in agony, sweating profusely, heart pounding and you feel sick from the intense exercise you"re doing. But you don"t need to go that far. To burn calories at a fast rate, you need to get your heart rate up as high as you can, make yourself sweat and make your muscles burn. Do something that requires you to push yourself. All physical sports are good for this, other exercises that are good include shuttle runs, bike riding, swimming lengths, squatting and jumping, taking out your anger on a punching bag etc. Home workout programmes like p90x and insanity are very good. Exercising like this not only burns fat, but also tones muscles and makes you fit.


You could try dieting, 1500 cals a day usually equates to a loss of 1lbs of fat per week. If you combine a 1500 cal/day diet with light exercise like going for short jogs (like 20mins), using a cross trainer, or even 30 minute routines consisting of star jumps, running on the spot etc. Then you"d lose weight pretty fast, you"d look different in a month. But like I said before, fastest way to do it is to exercise intensely. Daily, hour long workouts that make you have to really push yourself. You"d look different in 2 weeks.


Whatever you do, make sure you cut out junk food completely while you"re trying to loose weight. Just eat carbs and protein, no fat, and sugar should only come from fruit. You can eat sugary, fatty things once in a while if you just want to maintain your weight, but as long as you want to loose weight fast, cut it all out.
